When Lindsay and her family came into the shelter for their adoption appointment, the two dogs they hoped to meet were already in their happy forever homes. But it must have been fate, because they found their perfect companion, Maui.

Here's what Lindsay had to say:

"We went in with two dogs in mind after the first two we had planned to meet were adopted. Our amazing adoption counselor talked with us about meeting Maui first. With having four little ones, we wanted to make sure that it would be a perfect fit. We knew immediately that he was meant to be ours when he jumped up and gave my husband and I hugs and kisses. Maui has made himself right at home! We are so grateful for the opportunity to be Maui's forever family."
