Once frostbitten, Midnight recovered to find his forever home.

Midnight finds his home

Thursday, January 16, 2020 | NHS staff

Midnight, a 2-year-old black cat, came into the Nebraska Humane Society suffering from frostbite.

The damage done to his ears by the cold was so harsh that it caused the tips to fall off.

You can see how Midnight looked before and after treatment below:

Despite facing such adversity, Midnight's personality began to show. He is a friendly cat who loves to play, as his soon-to-be owners found out on Wednesday, Jan. 15. His unique look and charm proved too much for a mother and her son to pass up, and he quickly bonded with the boy. He went home with them that night to his warm forever home.
