Our supporters

The mission of the Nebraska Humane Society is to provide a voice for the animals and through them enrich the communities we serve.

Supporting the Nebraska Humane society demonstrates that your business, organization or corporation is committed to the community, enhances your image, and supports initiatives to improve the quality of life for both people and animals.  The overall outcome is to create a better environment in which to work and live. 

Corporate Friends of the Humane Society are invited to sponsor programs, projects, or special events.  Here are some past sponsorships that corporations have embraced.

Sponsorships:

• Fund a summer of compassionate learning by sponsoring “Camp Kindness.”
• Donate Funding to our annual Walk for the Animals.
• Underwrite an event, production, or festival
• Cover the cost of Project Pet Safe--which provides safe haven for animals while their owners relocate from domestic abuse situations. 
• Provide funding for any of our other programs, projects or events.
• Cover the cost for surgical equipment, microchips or pain patches.

In-Kind Services:

• Supply food for all shelter animals, for a year
• Supply Signage, T-shirts, or major prizes, for our annual Walk for the Animals.
• Provide Services, such as landscaping, at the shelter.
• Supply needed surgeries or medications for shelter animals
• Provide airtime, print, or other marketing venues for shelter projects
• Offer other services we can use to help cut costs and save more lives

We gratefully acknowledge gifts from our Corporate Friends with a listing in our Tail’s Tales newsletter, on our webpage, and where appropriate, in printed and announced materials at our annual Walk for the Animals.
