PROGRAMS FOR animals

Our efforts to control pet overpopulation start at the grass roots level.  As an agency responsible for housing and adopting out unwanted pets, we strive to make sure we don’t add to the problem. To that end, every dog, cat, puppy, or kitten adopted out of the Nebraska Humane Society has been spayed or neutered!  We strongly encourage all people with pets to spay or neuter them.  It’s healthier for the pet. It cuts down on the number of unwanted animals.  It’s the responsible thing to do.
