PROGRAMS
FOR animals |
 |
The Nebraska Humane Society is committed to offering refuge and safe
haven to unwanted animals. But thanks to community support we
are able to offer these animals much more than just a temporary home. Animals
who arrive at the shelter sick or injured are given the medical care
they need. Tiny babies too young for adoption, and surgery patients
who need to convalesce are sent to foster care. Young dogs in
need of manners lessons are literally “sent to prison,” to
get intensive obedience training from hand picked inmates. Once pets find homes we want them to stay there! So we offer
programs that make it easier for you to live with your pet, from obedience
classes to doggie day care. And when it’s time to say goodbye,
Rainbow Bridge Pet Cremation Services allow you to pay your respects
while helping pets still waiting for homes.
