My Houdini  My Houdini When my husband and I went to the Nebraska Humane Society to adopt on a Saturday, we went early to check out what was available. The kitten we chose (Houdini) was already in a meeting room with another family, so we were encouraged to check other available kitties. We had met two different ones, and then our helper came and notified us that Houdini was available for a meeting as the other family did not have enough funds to get her. It was immediate love! She couldn't stop headbonking my husband and purred the whole time! Her name given to her by her foster family had been Bonnie. She earned the name Houdini by being such a great escape artist if you needed to wrap her in a towel for meds! She has been an absolute joy for us for eight years now! Thank you to both you and her foster Mom for such a great cat! |
