We Love Lucy!

They have become fast friends

We brought Lucy, formally known as Queen, home from the Nebraska Humane Society on January 17th. She has quickly adapted to her new name and her new home.

Our Cavalier King Charles, Griffin, had been in need of a friend for quite some time. As soon as we saw Lucy up for adoption, we knew she needed to come home with us. As you can see, they have become fast friends.

We took the advice of the staff and introduced the dogs on a walk, away from our home. They had only been walking together a few minutes when Lucy decided she was tired. My husband waited for Lucy to rest and I decided to head home with Griffin. Well, Griffin wouldn't leave his new friend behind. He waited patiently for her to rest so they could head for home...together. They've been together ever since.

Thank you so very much to the staff and volunteers at the Nebraska Humane Society for rescuing her, and for taking such wonderful care of her until we could bring her home.
