We welcome Ryder to our lives!!!  Life begins the minute you open up your heart no matter what age they are!! It was one week ago today that we officially welcomed our newest member to our family. Ryder Sebastian Brockman proudly joined our family last friday and has instantly become a very important part of our lives and my "shadow". He is a handsome and extremely lovable 6 year old German Shepherd Mix full of excitement and eager to please. I had been without a dog in my home with 3 years and came with some hesitation about adopting a puppy and while they are cute and lovable, there is something to be said for the older dogs too! They can charm you just the same. While Ryder's bio says he can be a little agressive at times, I have found him to be the most "chill" dog ever and would define him as "Excited" to see you at the end of the day not agressive. I am so very happy that Ryder chose us to be his family and we are extremely lucky and grateful for the Humane Society to allow up to adopt older pups that want to live out their "golden years" in a loving house full of fun and great times! Although he has a tiny bit of seperation anxiety when I leave him he is fast learning that he is NOT going anywhere and is VERY loved and cared for and will be SPOILED ROTTEN!!! As it should be. A send a HUGE Thank you for the Humane Society for helping me find my new best friend!!! |
