Turtle Love  We are so glad to have Outlook as our little girl. My husband insisted that Dial-up was lonely and needed a friend. I watched the NHS website for weeks, and finally a picture of a box turtle was posted. We immediately jumped in the car and headed over. Outlook was immediately accepted by Dial-up. They are hilarious to watch - they have such unique personalities and are like any couple. Sometimes they are "arguing" and won't acknowledge each other. Other days they snuggle and follow each other around (who knew turtles snuggle?!). Outlook is true to her name and loves to sit and look. She loves worms and will fight Dial-up to get them. We are so glad to have Outlook as our little girl. It turns out Dial-up did need a friend. Having Outlook has helped bring Dial-up out of his shell - he is much more outgoing and comfortable with us since Outlook became part of the family. |
