Gunner's life

Gunner lived a wonderful life with us

12 years ago last October, we came into NHS not really expecting to find a playmate for our other dog but the Brittany Spaniel just knew we would take him home. He was very skittish at first and after a few months, we figured he was an abused dog but our love and comfort overtook him and he lived a very spoiled life. He protected our home and we knew when someone or something was walking by. We were very safe with him and we knew he felt safe with us. On March 4th, we made the tough decision of putting him down and coming full circle when we came back to NHS and Rainbow Bridge to complete our process to bring him back home again. NHS was both kind and professional in both processes and we thank them for helping him and us to give him his forever home -- in life and in death.
