Finding Rudy Thank you for matching me up with a lifelong friend I adopted Rudy last Friday, thinking that would give him a few days to get situated/familiar with his new home before I had to get back to work on Monday. I wanted a lap cat and a cat that wouldn't be frightened by my eight grandkids when they come over. To my surprise, he fit right in. The very first night, he slept with my 6-year-old grandson. That Sunday, all eight grandkids were over for dinner. I thought I should put him in a room so he wouldn't be frightened; however, it worked out that the grandkids met him two at at time. They loved him and weren't afraid of him, which I think helped that he wasn't afraid of them. Rudy has been a perfect fit for my family. Thank you for taking the time to go over Rudy's past concerns, which he doesn't seem to have anymore. I've got two cat litter boxes that are cleaned out at least every day if not twice a day and he is eating and drinking well. |
