Little kitty Azalea has filled a void Last year after a divorce, we needed to sell our home and move into a smaller one I could manage and afford. Our youngest daughter (15) had a difficult time adjusting to the change. Shortly after the move, she began asking for a kitten. Against my wishes, I decided to take her to the Nebraska Humane Society to take a look. We found an adorable 10-month-old kitten that was found several days earlier wondering in a field near Papillion. My daughter was instantly in love with her! Azalea (new name) has inadvertently filled a void for my daughter that neither of us had anticipated happening. She has been a wonderful addition to our family as well. I am very happy with our decision to adopt. |
