Two Peas in a Pod

In June 2015, we adopted a 7-week-old Tabby kitten that we named Woo and a 1.5-year-old cat who had been named Skinny. These two are inseparable and love each other so much. It has been wonderful having them in our house!

The cat we adopted had obviously had kittens prior to coming to the Humane Society but the kittens did not come to the Humane Society with her. We knew we wanted to choose two cats when we came in to adopt but can't believe how wonderfully these two got along! Skinny, the mama cat, has treated Woo, the kitten, just like her own from practically the moment we brought them home. She grooms him and allows him to play with her like kittens play with their siblings. It is the sweetest relationship to watch. After losing our former 17 year old Calico in May 2014, we really took time before we chose to adopt again. We are all so happy to have our new family members. Having these two in our house has been a blessing to us.
