The gate’s open and Rover is gone. Or maybe, somebody else’s Rover has wandered into your back yard. As the only centralized Lost & Found service in Douglas and Sarpy Counties, the Nebraska Humane Society reunites more than 4000 pets with their owners each and every year. In addition, when pet owners are no longer able to care for pets they can bring them to the Nebraska Humane Society. All pets will receive safe harbor, humane treatment, and evaluation for entry into our adoption program. So whether you’re looking for a lost pet, or hoping to place a pet you can no longer keep, the Nebraska Humane Society is every animals “home away from home.”
