Disclaimer: (Please Read)

Please ensure your choice of dates, time and session is correct.  We regret that we are unable to make any changes once your registration has been officially processed.

All campers should wear closed-toe shoes and bring a sweatshirt or light jacket as our facility is cool.   Please drop off your child no earlier than 10 minutes prior to start time of camp.  For safety reasons, all campers must be picked up immediately after camp concludes each day.  Late pick ups will be charged a fee of $1.00 per minute.  Thank you for your cooperation.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. How many campers are there in each session?
Each session has space for 50 campers with two classes of 25 children
  2. Who teaches the sessions?
We hire certified classroom teachers along with high school counselors.
  3. Can my child be signed up with a friend?  Can we switch sessions?
Please remember applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.   We cannot hold any spots for potential campers.  The best way to ensure both your child and the friend attend the same camp is to register at the same time.  We apologize that we cannot switch camp sessions once registration has been officially processed
  4. Will the campers get to play with the animals?
Each day of camp includes supervised animal interaction as curriculum allows.
  5. How early can I bring my child to camp?
Campers should be dropped off to our main building no earlier than 10 minutes prior to start time of camp.  Campers MUST BE PICKED UP immediately after camp concludes each day.  Late pick ups will be charged a fee of $1.00 per minute.  Thank you for your cooperation.
  6. My child attended Camp Kindness last summer, will it be different this year?
Yes!  The core curriculum remains the same, but new features, speakers, games, crafts and animals are also offered to keep camps fresh.  We find that over one-third of our campers are “repeat campers” because they enjoy coming to camp every year!
  7. I am registering two children and when I go to register the second child the questions are populated with the first child’s information?
Before registering any of your children make sure you aren’t signed into our website.  How do you know if your signed in?  On the left hand side of the screen below the purple navigation you’ll see a phrase that says Welcome (your name)!  If it says welcome please hit the logout button directly underneath the Welcome phrase.  Once you have done this you should be able to register both children.  NOTE: Once you have registered your first child the system will automatically log you in so make sure you follow the above steps to register your second child properly.
  8. I have hit the log out button and the website is still remembering me?
If this is your situation you will need to clear your Internet browsing history and/or the cookies in your internet browser.  Once you have cleared the history or the cookies you should be able to register you second child.
  9. Neither of the above questions and answers solved my problem?
When filling out the information use the other parent’s information in the name and email boxes.  This will create a new record in our system and you should be able to register your second child.
  10. I’m still not having any luck registering my second child?
Register your second child with your first child’s information in the answer boxes.  After you have processed your payment send your second child’s information to programs@nehumanesociety.org and we’ll change the information manually.
  11. I did not receive a confirmation email?
If you did not receive a confirmation email please check your junk email and see if the message was delivered there.  If the confirmation email is not in your junk email folder please check your bank account records to see if your payment was processed.  If there is no payment that was processed then your registration might not have been processed.  Our system will time people out after 20 min to prevent fraud.  If you would like to see if your registration went through even though you didn’t receive a confirmation email please email programs@nehumanesociety.org with the subject Didn’t Receive a Confirmation Email.
