Pet Loss Support Group: Losing your best friend can leave a gaping hole in your life. And human friends who say “he was only a pet” don’t understand that you’ve lost a constant companion who offered unconditional love.
We do understand, and we want to help. The *first Saturday of every month we invite you to our free Pet Loss Support Group. Experience insight into your feelings as Pam Aldinger gives you tips and information on coping with loss. She graciously donates her time to give pet owners the tools they need to manage feelings of loss, grief and even guilt. There’s no need to talk--simply come and listen.
The seminar is free of charge, open to adults 18 and older, and takes place at 10:30 am, the *first Saturday of each month at the Nebraska Humane Society in the Lied Humane Center main building.
Unless otherwise noted, workshops take place in the conference room. Take the first hallway to your right as you enter the main building. The conference room is marked and on the left.
One more note: If the first Saturday falls on a holiday weekend the group will meet the following (second) Saturday of the month.
