'Just don't leave them out,' Animal control busy saving pets left in bitter cold temperatures

Animal control officers with the Nebraska Humane Society have been busy answering calls of pets left in the cold and patrolling neighborhoods looking for animals left outside.

That included 6-month-old Rasputin, who had his head stuck in a chain-link fence. Fortunately, animal control was called and Rasputin, who has since found a forever home, was saved.
