The Vets Get Pets program will disburse up to $350 to a qualifying rescue to cover a veteran's pet adoption fees. Limit one adoption per veteran, and they must be a Nebraska resident.
While veterans can use Vets Get Pets anytime of the year, NHS will be opening an hour early (11 a.m.) on the first Wednesday of each month for the rest of 2024 exclusively for Nebraska veterans to adopt a pet. Spread the word to vets in your lives!
