Stella  It was love at first sight with Stella! Stella and I met at the Nebraska Humane Society on March 21, 2014. She was a bit shy in her cage with her back turned to everyone and when I called her name she turned her head and gave me "the stink eye". I knew then she was the one for me! I had lost my dog of 15 years 3 weeks earlier and she was the queen at giving "the stink eye". It was love at first sight with Stella! I brought her home and she has bonded well with me and is adjusting to meeting new people who visit my home. She has been a wonderful dog, well behaved and house trained. I couldn't have ordered a better dog!! Thank you Nebraska Humane Society for filling an empty place in my heart and in my home. |
