Rowdy Lab Now Rules the Roost

We are so glad we adopted him and look forward to getting him a brother very soon!

We met 10-month-old Tank in the summer of 2012. We had just moved into a house with a yard and were on the lookout for a yellow Lab. We adopted Tank (now the Duke) and boy was he a challenge! 75 lbs of spaz! He was so undisciplined that he had to be on a leash inside the house for several days. After much patience, behavior modification and love, Duke has grown up into a smart, well-behaved and strong guy! Now at 105 pounds, he goes on daily runs with Daddy, plays at the nearby dog park almost daily, and even gets to go to daycare sometimes! Duke knows what time each family member is due home from work. He even reminds us if the cat needs to be let in and will bug us until we figure it out. Then he'll jump in bed to snuggle down to sleep. We are so glad we adopted him and look forward to getting him a brother very soon!
