From Chico to Bitty

An amazing addition to our family!

We adopted Bitty (originally named Chico, but she's a girl so her named was changed) from the Humane Society in 2013. We instantly fell in love with her and had to bring her home. We were a little worried about her meeting our Chocolate Lab Addie, who we had adopted from another family earlier that year. But the two of them were like two peas in a pod. They instantly wanted to snuggle together and play together. Honestly, it's still that way. They love each other to death and we love both of them. Bitty was only 3 pounds when we adopted her and found out about her history. She was shot three times with a pellet gun and left on the side of the road, where she was found and transferred to the Nebraska Humane Society. You would think she would be scared of people after all she went through but she's the exact opposite. She loves children and getting as much snuggle time in as possible. We have never imagined having two dogs at a time, but now we wouldn't have it any other way! She has been an amazing addition to our family!
