But hundreds of dishes have to be sanitized every day at the Nebraska Humane Society to help control the spread of germs and diseases. Our wee babies are most vulnerable as their immune systems aren't fully developed. Unfortunately, the nursery dishwasher at NHS gave out sooner than expected due to constant use. We're hoping to replace the dishwasher with a longer-lasting, industrial model that can sanitize dishes in just 15 minutes!
This isn't in our budget, but it isn't a luxury.
A "regular" dishwasher takes about two hours to sanitize a load, so simply replacing this one will have the same result. It will run constantly, and, again, wear out quickly. The new washer is faster, more durable and made for lots of loads!
